Using the site
My Paw Finder provides public search and directory information to help you connect with animal-welfare organizations. Use the site responsibly and for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or overload its services.
Availability and accuracy
The site is a work in progress. Information may be incomplete, outdated, or temporarily unavailable. Example animal cards are demonstrations. Cached directory results are identified when used as an outage fallback. Confirm important details with the organization before relying on them.
Adoptions and outside services
My Paw Finder does not approve adoptions, process shelter applications, set fees, or guarantee placement. Your dealings with shelters, rescues, pounds, and other linked services are directly with those organizations and subject to their requirements and terms.
Independent organizations
A listing or link does not establish a partnership, endorsement, inspection, or verification by My Paw Finder. Organization websites and map services are outside our control.
Future goals
References to supporting veterans, shelters, and rescues describe our goals. They are not a statement that donations are currently being collected, proceeds have been distributed, or that the site has tax-exempt status. Any future fundraising program will need its own clear terms.

Features and these terms may change as the site develops. The date on this page identifies its latest update.
