- Choose your search distance and view the nearby shelters and agencies section.
- Open an organization’s website and contact it about rehoming assistance, courtesy listings, or owner surrender.
- Explain your situation and share the animal’s age, health information, and behavior around people and other animals.
- Ask about availability, appointments, fees, and requirements before bringing your animal.
